My visit to Casa Loma
Last week, Saturday 16th July, I visited Casa Loma, a big beautiful historic house museum constructed from 1911-1914 in Toronto by Sir Henry Mill Pellatt.
According to the description this place, I saw that this place has exceptional architecture. I am happy to visit this popular touristic location to have a picture collection for my souvenir items. It’s very fun to enjoy and appreciate a time that I spent in this most beautiful place. During the visit, I liked to take some beautiful pictures to share with friends and my parents.

Visiting CASA LOMA. The history of Sir Henry Pellat. Saturday, July 16th
Saturday, the 16th of July, SLP students left at 9 o’clock AM after breakfast, for an exciting tour at two sites in Toronto: Casa Loma and Toronto Island. As usual, a few students were thinking that the buses will leave 15 minutes late and were surprised when the buses stopped at exactly 8:55 A.M. and kept everyone rigorously on time!
We began the visit by Casa Loma, a really beautiful house built Sir Henry Pellat in the beginning of the 20th century. The history of the great building reveals the ultimate power of his builder. He didn’t live inside more than ten years with his lovely wife but he enjoyed being at the top of his generation at that moment. He realized this dream after bringing for the first time, electricity to Toronto city by using the Niagara Falls. He had real prestige at the royal court of the United Kingdom but fell unfortunately into bankruptcy without finishing the construction of the Casa Loma or paying all the debts he contracted for building it. Nonetheless, he received very big honours when he died.
After one hour and a half of visiting, all the students were really impressed when it was time to leave at 11: 15 for Toronto Island.
Learning English could be Fun, but how can you learn English?!

Toronto Islands

The adventure started the moment we boarded the ferry. A great thrilling feeling was created when the CN Tower was moving away from us. We had a great and exciting moment when an airplane was taking off; it was just close to our heads. The boat arrived to the edge of center Island. What a green space full of trees!. It was an amazing huge park. It is a wonderful place for playing, having fun, lying down and having barbeques. There were a huge number of families who chose to have a nice day there. So, we started to walk between the trees to the closest beach, it was so shiny and we were eager to get in contact with the water. On the island, it is recommended to rent a bike and drive around. The furthest point is the Wards Island. During the walk, we met many people of different nationalities. In addition, it was so relaxing to have a walk between the small, colored and very cute houses there. The standing CN Tower is eye-catching. You would not leave that place without taking a picture with it. Arriving at the beach, we enjoyed the great views of the city of Toronto. We appreciated the experience of seeing the huge cargos entering and leaving the harbour.
Poker night at SLP: How I lost all in the first hand ;-(

Walking On The Sky

At 342 metres in the air, the glass floor of the CN Tower is probably the most scary place I ever been in my life. In the video below, you can get a taste of this experience of a life time. If you haven't been there already, I encourage you to do so. It's a must see when you're visiting Ontario's Capital.
